Bryte Elementary School

Family and friends were invited to enjoy an afternoon of reading and listening to young writers share their voices in a story-sharing event designed to connect newly arrived immigrant families and long-time Californians. Display boards with the work of third graders, who shared their oral histories, and second graders, who dream of a better future in California, filled the cafeteria at Bryte Elementary with writing for all to read.
